ABOUT RYAN

I’m Ryan Magee, a Southern California–based photographer specializing in automotive and real estate photography, with over five years of experience capturing cars, car culture, and high-end properties. I’ve worked with car shows, Cars & Coffee–style brands, private collectors, renowned auction platforms, and dealerships, including platforms like Bring a Trailer, Porsche South Bay, etc. That background has given me a strong understanding of what buyers actually look for, and enthusiast's want to see to immortalize their car long after they part ways with it. Every shoot is built around precision, transparency, and presentation that drives confidence.

My automotive work ranges from high-volume private listings to fine art exhibition sessions, rolling shots, and private automotive events, partnered with globally recognized brands. On the real estate side, I work with top agents throughout the area to create clean, bright, market-ready imagery, using advanced HDR techniques for balanced lighting and accurate color to make the home look as inviting as possible.

My editing style is always natural and organic, supported by professional color grading and Photoshop retouching when refinement is needed. At the core, my goal is simple: to create intentional, timeless images that elevate both vehicles and properties. I’m based in SoCal and available for travel.

Comprehensive Photoshop mastery

My preference is always to keep my imagery natural and organic. However, in situations where subtle or extensive cleanup is needed, I am highly proficient in Photoshop and able to refine images to the highest professional standard without making them look artificial.

extensive color grading mastery

Extensive color grading experience and mastery built on years of hands-on practice and formal education in color theory. Color is one of the most powerful tools in visual storytelling, and is imperative in evoking emotion within an image. It shapes mood, guides feeling, and influences how an image is experienced.
